Elijah Free was born October 3, 1950 in the town of Lynn, Massachusetts. At the age of ten, Elijah began to become aware through a series of deep inner experiences he possessed unusual gifts. As time went on, Elijah discovered he was a healer and a shaman.

At the age of 17, Elijah Free volunteered to serve his country in the U.S. Air Force. He served as a state side medic during the Vietnam War. He also became one of the better known anti-war GI’s during this time, speaking out against the war and the injustices that war creates. After an honorable discharge, Elijah worked as an EMT and Paramedic in the greater Boston area. He also ran a medical shift at Walpole Maximum Security Prison.

Several years later, Elijah began to suffer from excruciating back pain for nearly three years caused by injuries sustained earlier in life. For over a year, he prayed to our Father/Mother God, promising if our Divine Parent would heal him, Elijah would learn to heal others in turn. One morning Elijah awoke and instantaneously healed. Within days, people suffering began to come to him for healing. Since then, he has helped to heal thousands of people of pain, illness and debilitation.

Over the course of years, Elijah has created a number of healing modalities which are written about in Apprentice to Angels.

One of these modalities is Freeing—Rapid Pain Elimination. A form of bodywork that can literally rebuild the structural system of the body, eliminating pain and re-aligning damaged hard and soft tissue.

As a master herbalist, Elijah has created many herbal products to help heal numerous conditions. In 2007, Ridgecrest Herbals will release a formula of Elijah’s that is a cure for fibromyalgia that affects, according to the National Fibromyalgia Institute, over ten percent of the population. This is a disease that causes the soft fascia of the body to become hard and permanently painful. Elijah received a patent for this formula in 2007.

Elijah is also a natural Shaman, working in Native Dreamtime.
Elijah Free has never studied natural healing in the conventional sense. Elijah learns in Dreamtime his ways of restoring health and gives them to the world as a gift. One of his greatest desires is to have a school where he can teach others his healing methods.

His first book, Apprentice to Angels is all about Elijah’s path, how he heals, stories of those he has healed, about his journey with God and what Angels have taught him about healing and the spiritual nature of the universe. It is the story of a life’s journey from hopeless pain to the triumph of the spirit and Elijah’s quest to keep his promise to God to heal others.

Since January of 2000, Elijah has worked as a healer at Pacific Naturopathic Clinic in Palo Alto, California with a group of doctors, on staff as a healer and a full associate.
